16th Arrondissement : Trocadero, Porte Maillot & Bois de Boulogne

Trocadero - Palais de Chaillot : The Trocadero esplanade is offering a breathtaking view over the Eiffel Tower (Probably the best one). The walk from the Trocadero to the Eiffel tower across the Seine river is short and really worth your time. A nice picture to take : Trocadero golden statues glittering in the Parisian sunshine with the Eiffel tower in the background. The Palais de Chaillot hosts the National Navy Museum.
Guimet Museum : The Musée Guimet was the brain-child of Emile Guimet (1836-1918), a Lyons industrialist who devised the grand project of opening a museum devoted to the religions of Ancient Egypt, Classical Antiquity, and Asia. Bois de Boulogne : This park is the largest one close to Paris. It was once a hunting ground for the Kings. Things to do & places to see in the Bois de Boulogne : Parc de Bagatelle - A chateau (Built in 64 days after a bet between Marie Antoinette and Count of Artois) surrounded by a beautiful park, Hippodrome de Longchamp - Inaugurated in 1875 by Napoleon III this Racecourse is hosting the most famous, prestigious events like the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the Paris Grand Prix.

17th Arrondissement : Monceau Park, Levis street, Palais de congres & porte Maillot

Monceau Park : A nice public Park painted once by Claude Monet. The park is unusual in Paris due to its English style includes a collection of scaled-down architectural features including an Egyptian pyramid, a Chinese fort, a Dutch windmill, and Corinthian pillars...
Rue de Levis - Market : A pedestrian street with a permanent open air fruit and vegetable market, (Market is closed on Sunday afternoon and Monday). Many bistros - places to eat in the area.
Palais des congres - Porte Maillot : If you come to Paris for Business reasons there is a chance that you attend an exhibition or seminar at the Palais des Congres - Indeed many conferences, general meetings, scientific events, product launches, fashion shows happen here every week. It is also the location of the pick up for the Low cost Beauvais airport coach service. Spring Wine fair : One of the event not to be missed if you like wine. Twice a year (Spring & Automn) the largest France wine fair takes place in Paris - The Spring one is held at the Espace Champerret located at the porte de Champerret - 17th arrondissement. Exact 2009 date to be advised (Late March). The Automn one takes place late november at the Paris Expo exhibition center located at Porte de Versailles.

18th Arrondissement : Montmartre, Pigalle, Moulin Rouge

Montmartre : Today, Montmartre remains alive with six million visitors who like to stroll along the narrow cobblestone streets of old Paris while taking in the historical and cultural atmosphere. Montmartre hill is a real nice place to visit when coming to Paris. Sacre Coeur Basilica is setting on the top of Montmartre Hill - Dominating the Right Bank. It offers with Eiffel Tower one of the best view over Paris. Places to see close to Sacred Heart include of course the famous Place du Tertre meters away and the Vineyards - Unique in Paris - just behind the church. A very romantic place indeed... a little crowded during week-ends.
Moulin Rouge : One of Paris must see - Definitely the best cabaret show in Paris. Pigalle : The touristic red-light district of Paris, streets are lined with many sex shops around the Place Pigalle - A place not recommended with childrens as prostitutes are operating in the side streets at night.

19th Arrondissement : Buttes Chaumont & La Villette

Buttes Chaumont : If staying in the 19th arrondissement of Paris do not hesitate to visit the Parc des Buttes Chaumont - On of the largest public park in Paris. The park was commissioned by the French Emperor, Napoleon III and was developed by Baron Haussmann. It was opened as part of the festivities of the Universal Exhibition in 1867.
