Rodin museum
The Rodin Museum is located on the left bank a stone throw from the Invalides. It is one of the must see when visiting the city of lights. It features more than six thousand and six hundred sculptures. These works, in terracotta, plaster, bronze, marble, wax, molten glass, stoneware, etc, are shared between the Hotel Biron in Paris, and the Villa des Brillants in Meudon (Little city close to Paris). The nice gardens also hosts a few sculptures. Masterpieces at the museum : The Gates of Hell, Ugolino, The Kiss and of course The Thinker. Nice thing to do during spring & summer : Take time for a coffee in the gardens (Small open air café house & a few tables are available) ... And avoid week-ends when the place is usually crowded.

Rodin museum in Paris
About the Rodin museum : Of course most of the works exposed are from Rodin ... But also from Camille Claudel (1864-1943). She met Auguste Rodin in 1883 and became his mistress.
